  • Dependency Case Manager Specialist - Wakulla

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Oversight of the Missing Child Reporting System (MCR). Checks all court proceedings to assure permanency plan occurs in a timely manner and participate in hearings concerning recommendations. Conducts all home studies from other states for any placements. Tracks all requests for incoming and outgoing ICPCs as well as the packets going to other states are complete. Serve as point of contact for all incoming and outgoing Courtesy Packets within the state of Florida. Completes all requests for home studies. Completes Pro Se functions as required in the area in which assigned. Review of court orders to assure reasonable efforts to finalize a permanency plan.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    Individual must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health, or related field. The incumbent must possess Child Welfare Case Manager Certification through the Florida Certification Board. Be proficient in the use of the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS).
    Salary Rate: $24.04 per hour
  • Prevention Specialist - School Based

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Conduct assessments throughout the clients engagement with the program. Implement prevention counseling curriculum to appropriate fidelity levels. Develop an individualized prevention counseling service plan. Utilizing varied treatment models to assist clients in building resiliency. Monitor care to determine if additional services are needed. Maintain files on caseload and ensure all required documentation is completed. Complete all reports and documentation required within appropriate time frames. Research and plan education, prevention, and social skills development presentations. Foster positive relationships with assigned school to provide effective services to students.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelors or Masters degree level practitioners must hold a degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or related human services field, other than Criminology.A related human services field is a field of study with the objective of meeting human needs through an applied knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems, and maintaining a commitment to improving the overall quality of life of service populations. Experience providing direct care services to youth in an educational setting is preferred.
    Salary Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
  • Dependency Case Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Participate and complete all required steps of the early engagement process. Make initial contact with client/family within required time frames. Supervise families and children on case load and make on-going assessments regarding child safety. Complete assessments within required time frames. Obtain release forms from client/parent to obtain information from service provides and community partners. Visit client/family on case load to monitor compliance and effectiveness of services being provided. On-call duties. Assist with court hearings through participation in hearings and arranging transportation for client/family. Assist with alternative placements for children in home as necessary. Maintain documentation for client records and input data into the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) as required
    REQUIREMENTS:
    Individual must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health, or related field. Must attain a passing score on the basic skills Introduction to Child Protection Written Assessment. (Note: Applicants who have not completed the training and passed the written assessment will be considered for appointment in agency training status. Successful completion of the field-based performance assessment is required during the probationary period.) One (1) year experience in foster care/protective services is preferred.
    Salary Rate: $21.64 - $24.04 per hour
  • Case Manager - Wakulla

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    As a Case Manager, you will work directly with clients to ensure they are connected to the care they need to support their recovery efforts. You will be responsible for assessing clients, scheduling appointments, making referrals, and monitoring treatment. This position requires a high level of communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to connect with clients from different backgrounds.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work preferably in a Social or Behavioral Science field with at least one year of experience in the juvenile justice, mental health, and/or substance use disorder field preferred. Master’s degree may be substituted for one year of experience. A valid State of Florida Driver’s License is also required.
    Salary Rate: $20.00 per hour
  • Counselor - Selected Family Intervention (SFI)-Wakulla

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Provide individual and family intervention services for families while following the(SFI) manual approach to services. Services will be provided in various settings but not limited to: in-home, office, and other community locations. Services may be provided on evenings as needed. Complete thorough intake paperwork and biopsychosocial assessments. Collaboratively complete individualized intervention plans with clients to assist them in identifying and reaching their goals. Conduct 60-minute individual/family sessions weekly with each client based on their individualized goals. Collaboratively complete discharge planning paperwork with clients to identify progress and any other areas of need for further referral. Complete all required clinical documentation within the required time frames.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    Individual must have a minimum of a Masters degree in a social, behavioral, or related field. Preferred experience in mental health, substance misuse, child welfare or related field. Possession of a valid Florida motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment is also required. Once employed individual will provide copy of current proof of car insurance for personnel file.
    Salary Rate: $25.00 per hour
  • Counselor - Wakulla

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    As a master’s level counselor, you will work directly with clients to provide counseling services to diagnose and treat substance use and mental health concerns. You will work with Licensed Counselors to ensure the appropriate level of clinical care is provided to the client. This position requires a high level of communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to connect with clients from different backgrounds.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social or Behavioral Science Field with at least two (2) years of experience in individual/family counseling is required with at least one year of experience in the juvenile justice, mental health, and/or chemical dependency field preferred. A valid State of Florida Driver’s License is also required.
    Salary Rate: $25.00 per hour
