Peer Specialist - FIT
Responsibilties
Provide support, assistance, and advocacy for the client. Provide assistance, guidance for recovery support, and conflict management to clients. Utilize existing networks and coalitions within the community in order to enhance communication and increase collaboration in service planning and delivery. Provide feedback to the treatment team regarding the treatment service needs of clients receiving support and services. Identify barriers to completing treatment and assist the client in developing strategies for enhancing available support and services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Certified by the Florida Certification Board or has direct personal experience living in recovery from substance use conditions for at least 2 years. Minimum of one (1) year work experience as a peer recovery specialist. Recovery Peer Specialists are allowed one year from the date of their employment to obtain certification through the Florida Certification Board. Strict adherence to confidentiality with high ethical standards.
Salary Rate
$18.00 per hour
