Outpatient Counselor - Wakulla

Responsibilties

Complete comprehensive, individualized Biopsychosocial assessments, Interpretive Summaries, and additional required documentation. Complete the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) screening to identify level of care and program placement. Document assessment findings and referral recommendations in the clinical notes; includes writing progress notes and documenting all delivered services. Staff each case with a supervisor, qualified professional, or designee and make appropriate clinical recommendations that will minimize future substance or behavioral disorders. Provide individual, group, and family counseling for individuals and their families. Coordinate with other community-based providers, including both public and private, to develop efficient processes that allow the person served and their families to have immediate access to services.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Social or Behavioral Science Field from an accredited college or university. At least two (2) years of experience in individual/family counseling is required if degree is in an unrelated field. Licensure under Chapter 491, F.S. as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Counselor is preferred.

Salary Rate

$25.00 per hour
