Counselor - NBRC
Responsibilties
The Counselor at the Natural Bridge Residential Center (NBRC) will provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention for male adult clients in the program. Facilitate therapeutic groups daily. Must complete all documentation in the specified timeframes. This position does not directly supervise staff but will be responsible for delegating responsibilities to other staff and ensuring tasks are completed.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Vocational, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitative, Music/Art Therapy, Family and Child Sciences, Psychology, Criminology, or other related field or a bachelor’s degree and experience in residential treatment. The counselor should maintain a professional demeanor, appropriate client boundaries, respect for authority, exhibit appropriate interaction with the staff and clients, and maintain confidentiality standards.
Salary Rate
$21.00 Bachelors - $25.00 Masters
