The Value of Residential Services: How DISC Village’s Recovery-Oriented System of Care Transforms Lives
When facing substance use and mental health challenges, finding the right treatment approach can make all the difference in your recovery journey. At DISC Village, our Residential Services offer a strong and supportive therapeutic environment for individuals seeking moderate to long-term treatment for substance use and mental health challenges, grounded in our comprehensive Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC).
Understanding Residential Services for Substance Use and Mental Health Treatment
Our Residential Services provide more than just treatment; they offer a pathway to transformation. We firmly believe that individuals can, and will, recover from the effects of a substance-dependent lifestyle once given the opportunity to change. Through our recovery-oriented approach to treatment, we assist individuals in overcoming interpersonal struggles and barriers that have prevented them from achieving lasting wellness.
The DISC Village Difference: A Recovery-Oriented System of Care
At the heart of our Residential Services lies our commitment to the Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC), a comprehensive framework that recognizes recovery as expected and achievable through meaningful partnerships and shared decision-making. Our ROSC approach represents a shift from acute care models to a recovery model, offering an array of services and supports to meet each individual’s unique pathway to recovery and wellness.
Why Choose Residential Services?
The journey towards recovery takes dedication and hard work. Life doesn’t stand still, but having the right support can help you achieve your goals while maintaining your commitments and positive relationships. Our Residential Services provide:
A Comprehensive Support Environment where residents can focus entirely on their recovery journey.
Individualized Treatment Planning is designed to help you take back control by identifying your individual needs and the treatment options that best fit your lifestyle. Our approach ensures that each resident receives personalized care tailored to their specific circumstances and recovery goals.
Our Residential Services integrate well with additional programs, from prevention and intervention to residential treatment and aftercare services, ensuring seamless transitions throughout your recovery journey.
Specialized Residential Treatment Programs
DISC Village offers three distinct residential treatment programs, each designed to meet the unique needs of different populations seeking recovery from substance use and mental health challenges:
Sisters in Sobriety (SIS)
The structured, therapeutic environment offered at Sisters in Sobriety utilizes a multifaceted, holistic approach along with peer support to encourage residents to develop individualized treatment goals that foster personal success. This program serves adult females aged eighteen and older who have been referred by a variety of sources for substance use addiction services.
Sisters in Sobriety provides comprehensive services, including:
- Individual Counseling: Counseling that follows a harm reduction and strengths-based perspective.
- Group Counseling: Encourage residents to develop and maintain a strong, healthy, and functional outlook upon leaving the program.
- Education/Vocational Services: Assist residents in identifying and attaining educational and/or vocational goals for new opportunities.
- Case Management: A wraparound approach to assist individuals and families in identifying their unique strengths and needs.
With access to premier evidence-based treatment options, residents gain the necessary tools to remain on their journey towards recovery as they return to their supportive environment outside of residential treatment, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services, and Nutritional Screening & Counseling.
Mothers in Sobriety (MIS)
This moderate to long-term residential treatment community offers chemically dependent pregnant and postpartum women and their infants the opportunity to develop strong mother/child bonds while practicing responsible parenting techniques. The Mothers in Sobriety program recognizes the unique challenges faced by women in recovery who are also mothers, providing specialized support for both maternal wellness and child development.
The program empowers women to believe in their ability to live and maintain productive lives while fostering healthy family relationships and building essential parenting skills within a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Natural Bridge Recovery Center
Located at our beautiful 200-acre residential treatment community, Natural Bridge Recovery Center offers a strong and supportive therapeutic environment for individuals seeking moderate to long-term treatment for substance use and mental health challenges. This comprehensive program utilizes a recovery-oriented approach to treatment to assist individuals in overcoming interpersonal struggles and barriers.
The Natural Bridge Recovery Center provides residents with access to a full range of therapeutic services and recreational opportunities across our expansive campus, creating an environment conducive to healing and personal growth.
