Behavioral Health Technician – Men’s Program

Essential Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Technician at the Natural Bridge Residential Center (NBRC), you will actively engage with all aspects of residents’ day-to-day activities. Adhering to guidelines in the Residential Services Manual as well as program policies. Providing transportation for client-related services. Monitoring and assisting with resident-related functions such as medication distribution, drug screens, visitation, meals, hygiene, and headcounts. Completes client documentation and program logs. At times, the role may require working various shifts, including 7 am-3 pm, 10 am – 6 pm, and 11 am-7 pm, 3 pm-11 pm, depending on the program’s needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in working with clients in a substance abuse, mental health, or other residential setting preferred.  A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field can substitute for the required experience. Expected to maintain a professional demeanor, respect for authority, appropriate interaction skills, and maintain ethical and confidentiality standards. Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications. Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.

Pay

$18.00 per hour
