Essential Responsibilities

Provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention to individuals served in our Mothers and Sisters in Sobriety programs. Facilitate therapeutic groups daily. Must complete all documentation in the specified timeframes. This position does not directly supervise staff but will be responsible for delegating responsibilities to other staff and ensuring tasks are completed.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Vocational, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitative, Music/Art Therapy, Family and Child Sciences, Psychology, Criminology, or other related field, or a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science related field and a minimum of two years of experience in the area of substance/residential treatment. Experience working in a residential substance abuse facility or providing substance abuse treatment, preferred. Maintain a professional demeanor, appropriate client boundaries, respect for authority, exhibit appropriate interaction with the staff and clients, and maintain confidentiality standards.

Salary Rate

$25.00 per hour
