DUTIES:
As a Program Supervisor, you will supervise clinical and administrative staff working directly with clients
in need of
services to diagnose and treat substance use and mental health disorders. As the supervisor of the office,
you will be
responsible for the direct supervision and operations of the location while also providing clinical services
to clients
if needed. This position requires a high level of communication and organizational skills as well as the
ability to connect
with clients from different backgrounds.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Mental Health, Social and/or Behavioral Science field with a preference to
a State Issued
License in Mental Health or Social Work (LMHC/LCSW). Experience in juvenile justice, mental health, and/or
chemical dependency
counseling preferred. Master’s level counselors with a degree in an unrelated field need at least four (4)
years of professional
experience in chemical dependency counseling preferred. A bachelor’s degree and Certification as a Certified
Addictions P
rofessional (CAP) may substitute for master’s degree requirement. A valid State of Florida Driver’s License
is also required.
Salary Rate: $52,000 annually

As a Peer Specialist, you will work directly with clients as the navigate their journey to recovery from
substance use disorders.
As the clients direct support, you will be available to them at any time to ensure they have the support
they need to find recovery.
You will assist clients in navigating care from counseling sessions to medical appointments or any other
assistance they need to
support their recovery. This position requires a high level of communication and organizational skills as
well as the ability to
connect with clients from different backgrounds.
QUALIFCATIONS:
Minimum certification by the Florida Certification Board or an individual who has direct personal experience
living in recovery
from substance use conditions for at least 2 years with a minimum of one (1) year work experience as a peer
recovery specialist.
Recovery Peer Specialists are allowed one year from the date of their employment to obtain certification
through the Florida
Certification Board. A valid State of Florida Driver’s License is also required.
Salary Rate: $15.38 per hour

Prevention Specialist
A full time Prevention Specialist is needed to work within school systems. The incumbent will provide an
evidence based curriculum to
middle/high or elementary school students considered at-risk youth. This position requires a bachelor's
degree in a social or behavioral
science or a related field.
Salary: $16.50 - $ 18.00 per hour

Family Support Worker
Dependency Case Management Services: DISC Village Inc., strives to provide the highest quality of child welfare prevention and
intervention services to children and their families within their communities of Wakulla/Franklin Counties and Gadsden/Liberty Counties.
Our program is designed to provide a continuum of services that assist families with acute or chronic conditions that threaten child safety
and family stability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist clients in accessing and obtaining services through the local and state agencies
· Work with families to establish a support plan
· Provide educational materials to families regarding nutrition, health-care, and child development
· Assist program Case Managers with referrals for the families to obtain community-based services
· Coordinate transportation for clients/families to ensure that they can obtain services within their community
REQUIREMENTS:
Individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent and three years’ experience working in a social, economic, health or
rehabilitative, medical, nursing, child development or child care setting. College degree or vocational technical training from an
accredited institution can substitute for some of the required experience.
Salary: $15.00 per hour
