DISC Village Community Spotlight

2023-04-03 Human Services

Here at DISC Village, we believe in being in your community. Which is why we wanted to spotlight an event that we feel is important in spreading awareness about substance use. Mike Ortoll, a Florida State University alum, and filmmaker, Tim Searfoss are spreading awareness about addiction in two documentaries. In the documentary titled "One Second at a Time," which Ortoll helped produce, the focus is the battle his daughter Christine had with substance use. Ortoll hopes to help students fight substance use and recognize warning signs. Finding help should not be hard. We are here to help, if you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, please reach out to us at discvillage.org/contact To learn more about Mike Ortoll and the documentaries, click the link below.
