Responsibilties
Prepares and cooks meals following USDA in bulk quantity for dining facility Maintains adequate inventory of food supplies and equipment every month and notifies appropriate staff when deficiencies need to be repurchased or reordered Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and/or stored at the end of each shift and each day Direct and follow standard sanitation and infectious disease control practices. Conduct routine safety inspections of work areas and equipment. Ensure the store room, walk-in freezer, and cooler are clean and maintain the proper temperature at all times, every day.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of cooking experience preferred Must be Safe Staff certified or become certified within 90 days of employment. Maintain appropriate client boundaries. Exceptional time management skills. The ability to stand for extended periods.
Salary Rate
$17.00 per hour
