Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Social Work Counselor
Responsibilties
A full-time Counselor is needed to conduct assessments, provide group and individual counseling and perform intervention services in an outpatient setting for adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The position requires the incumbent to be licensed by the State of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
Requirements
Individual must have a minimum of a Masters degree in a social or behavioral science field with a minimum of one year of experience in the area of substance use and/or mental health or if Masters degree is in an unrelated field of study the individual needs at least two years of experience working with clients that have co-occurring disorders such as substance use and mental health and be licensed by the State of Florida as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. If an individual has ATSA Certification (Association for the Treatment of Sexual users) they are eligible for an increase in starting salary from $60,000 as this position works with clients from the federal probation system.
